Assisted Living Worker (Casual):

The Assisted Living Worker delivers exemplary personal care services that enhance life
quality and peace of mind for seniors living within the assisted living residence. Under
the direction of the Assisted Living Coordinator or Leader, delivers personal care and
housekeeping, laundry, dining, social/recreation programs as driven by the needs,
interests, choices and abilities of assisted living residents. Acts as a member of the
program team, and helps to support the independence of assisted living residents.

Early Years Coord (Casual):

Plans, promotes, arranges, facilitates and provides group activities for parents and
children 0 – 6 years of age. The Coordinator provides information and practical
advice on parenting and infant/early childhood development. Activities are developed
to meet the goals of the contracts, as outlined below in Appendix A. The location for
these activities is primarily the Family Centre in Keremeos.

Finance Clerk/ Administrative Support:

Lower Similkameen Community Services Society is seeking an experienced Finance Clerk/Administrative Support for 20 hours per week to perform various accounts payable duties as well as general financial duties in the following areas: payroll, accounts payable and receivable, updating records, billing, verifying information, etc. Performs other clerical and administrative duties as assigned.

Adult Day Services Coordinator: 

LSCSS is seeking an experienced Program Coordinator to Coordinate Adult Day Services  (ADS) in Keremeos. Working as part of an interdisciplinary team, the Adult Day Services Coordinator will develop, implement and participate in the delivery of supportive group programs and activities for seniors and people with disabilities.

Relief Assisted Living Coordinator:

The Assisted Living Coordinator oversees the delivery of services that support independence and quality of life for residents.  Under direction, coordinates all assisted living services including personal care, social / recreational programs, hospitality services, and emergency response.  Oversees the day-to-day operation and maintenance of the building by performing duties such as:  ensuring adherence to assisted living legislation; contractual requirements; residence policies and procedures; supervising staff & scheduling; and ensuring residence maintenance and safety.  The Assisted Living Coordinator reports to the Society Executive Director or designate.

 

The Relief Coordinator will provide coverage for the Assisted Living Coordinator’s sick and vacation leaves, and as may be required by operational needs.
