Violence Against Women - What is Violence?

Violence can come in the form of physical threats or harm, mental or emotional abuse such as yelling and belittling or isolating you from friends and family.

Another form of abuse is sexual whether it is unwanted sexual talk, sexual assault or rape.

Violence can happen to anyone by anyone.

How can counselling help?

When you are ready, counselling can be an effective way to begin or continue your journey towards self-empowerment.

Counselling can help you tap into your own inner strengths and resources and offers non-judgmental support, encouragement, advocacy, education and compassion.

If you are interested in taking part in the counselling process or would like to learn more about this program, please feel free to call me and we can discuss how counselling may be helpful to you.
