Gustavson House: Adult Mental Health Drop-In
Gustavson House is a place to meet friends, share a meal every Wednesday evening and participate in group activities.
What is the Purpose of Gustavson House?
The purpose is both social and therapeutic. A place to meet and make friends, and share good times. It is also a place where you can find out information about mental health that will be pro-active about helping yourself.
Services
Gustavson House provides its members with a positive, safe and supportive environment. It is designed to help individuals who have mental health issues increase their quality of life through peer support, access to relevant information and opportunities to gain new skills, interests and friendships.
Who Can Join?
Adults suffering from serious and persistent mental illness. Referrals are made through the Adult Mental Health Counsellor, Interior Health Authority.
A trained facilitator is available for support and resources.
Group is on Wednesdays from 3:30 – 6:30 pm
An Arts & Crafts group is offered from 10:00 – 11:30 every other Monday for members and seniors
